Married & Engaged Couples Small Groups . . .

Five Essential Factors for a Good Relationship

Song of Solomon 1:2 says, “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.”  God is the author of romance. In this group you will learn what romance is and what it is not. We will discuss how to effectively communicate love to your spouse and talk about ideas for setting a romantic atmosphere.

Million Dollar Marriage
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 2).  It is clear that God desires us to experience prosperity in every aspect of our life including finances.  In this class, we will discuss the importance of being on one accord for your financial dreams to come true.  You will create a working budget, talk about if it is "my money or our money", set financial priorities and receive the scriptural perspective on giving.

Raising a Godly Seed
Raising children is a tremendous honor, but being a parent has its own challenges and parents can be filled with self-doubt. "As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth." (Psalm 127:4) Among other things, this group will discuss your role in raising godly children, struggles of parenthood, healthy discipline, your child's spiritual development and dealing with conflict.

Chopped

In this group, learn the joy of cooking and working together as a team in the kitchen.  Understand the basics of cooking and learn new recipes.  You will enjoy working on in-class and at-home projects.  This class ends with a night out at one of the area’s best restaurants with the entire group (each couple is responsible for the cost of dinner).

Can You Hear Me Now?

The key to a healthy marriage is healthy communication. This group will discuss creative and insightful ways to communicate with your spouse and stay connected. We will discuss breakdowns in communication, healthy conflict and confrontation, keeping your love “on”, making time to talk and much more!
